Payroll Software in Saudi Arabia – WPS, GOSI & End of Service
Run accurate monthly salaries for every branch in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam. AxoOne Payroll pulls in attendance and overtime, calculates GOSI and end-of-service, prepares your WPS salary file and sends payslips in Arabic and English.

Monthly payroll without the spreadsheet stress
Most Saudi companies still close payroll in Excel: copying attendance, adding allowances by hand, recalculating GOSI deductions and then rebuilding a WPS file for the bank. One wrong formula means an unhappy employee or a rejected salary file. AxoOne Payroll replaces that routine with a structured monthly run, so salaries for Saudi and expatriate staff are calculated the same way every time, with every change recorded and approved before any money leaves your account.
You define salary structures once – basic, housing, transport, food, phone and any custom allowance – and the system applies them to each employee. Absences, late minutes and approved overtime flow in from attendance, while loans, advances and penalties are deducted automatically. When the run is approved you get the WPS file, a bank transfer sheet, GOSI figures, journal entries for accounting and individual payslips, all from one screen.

Advanced payroll features

GOSI contribution wage
Tracks each employee’s contribution wage from basic salary and housing allowance and flags changes that GOSI must be told about.
End-of-service engine

Loans and advances
Records salary advances and staff loans, then deducts agreed instalments every month until the balance is fully settled.
Approval workflow
Routes each payroll run from HR to finance to the owner, with comments and a locked record once salaries are released.
Accounting integration
Posts salary, allowance and GOSI journals by branch and cost centre into AxoOne accounting or exports them for your auditor.
Built for Saudi payroll rules
Private-sector employers in the Kingdom must prove that wages were paid through the Wage Protection System, which is managed on the Mudad platform and linked to banks and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development. AxoOne Payroll keeps the data that file needs – employee ID or Iqama number, bank IBAN, basic salary, housing, other earnings and deductions – and exports it in the format your bank or Mudad accepts, so the monthly upload takes minutes instead of a day.
End-of-service awards follow Article 84 of the Saudi Labor Law: half a month’s wage for each of the first five years and a full month’s wage for each year after, based on the last wage, with reduced entitlements on resignation under Article 85. Overtime is paid at the hourly wage plus 50% of the basic wage. The rules are configured in the system, so every settlement is consistent and documented.
No more rejected salary files
Missing IBANs, duplicate Iqama numbers and zero salaries are caught before the WPS file is created, not after the bank rejects it.

Frequently asked questions
Can’t find your answer? Call +966 599 340 593 or see the full FAQ.
Does AxoOne Payroll create the WPS file for Mudad?
Yes. After you approve the monthly run, AxoOne prepares the wage protection salary file in the layout required by your bank, ready to upload through your bank or the Mudad platform. Missing IBANs or ID numbers are flagged first so the file is not rejected.
How does the software calculate end-of-service benefits in Saudi Arabia?
It uses the employee’s joining date, last wage and reason for leaving. Under Article 84 of the Labor Law the award is half a month’s wage per year for the first five years and one month’s wage for each year after; Article 85 reduces it on resignation. The calculation sheet can be printed for the final settlement.
Can it handle GOSI deductions for Saudi and expatriate employees?
Yes. Each employee has a GOSI profile with their contribution wage, built from basic salary and housing allowance. The system calculates the employee and employer shares according to the rates you configure and produces a monthly GOSI summary for reconciliation.
Can I run payroll for several branches or companies?
Yes. You can run payroll for multiple branches, cost centres or legal entities under one login, with separate bank accounts, WPS files and approval rules for each, while management still sees a consolidated salary cost report.
Is the payroll software available in Arabic?
Yes. The full interface, payslips and reports work in Arabic and English, and each employee can receive a payslip in their preferred language by email or through the mobile app. Western or Arabic-Indic digits can be chosen for printed documents.
